Disco Demands
Not really a big fan of retro compilations, but the London/Berlin based label BBE (disclaimer: they are my office mates) usually releases compilations with material that is an evidence for good musical knowledge and deep digging compilers.
BBE is running now since 15 years, and the Disco Demands series since the year 2000. Now the full series will be put together on one release containing 5 CDs and vinyl, compiled by Al Kent. Plus a cover which makes you buy the physical product for sure (although in USA there will be a sticker on certain parts).
